  1. We find the accessIf it is blocked or overgrown, no problem — just point us at it.
  2. We go all the way underNot a look through the door with a torch. Under, with lights and a camera, front to back.
  3. We photograph and measureConditions, framing, insulation, ductwork, water lines on the piers, plus moisture and humidity readings.
  4. We write the estimate on siteFixed price, scope and timeline, in your hand before we leave.
  5. You take your timeNo pressure at the door. If we find nothing wrong, we will say so.

How to help us get it right

  • Clear a path to the crawl space access if you can
  • Note when the smell, damp or cold floors are worst — season matters

Do I need to be home?

It helps, but it is not essential as long as we can reach the crawl space access. Either way you get the photos and the written price.

What does the work usually cost?

Full encapsulation runs $4,000 to $15,000 and a vapor barrier alone starts around $2,500. Your estimate is a fixed number, not a range.
